Marcel Krist

Leadership skills are part and parcel of Marcel Krist's professional DNA. For him, life began in earnest when he successfully graduated from the University of Zurich with a degree in business administration. He was able to use his talents on the national and international stage, in companies in the fields of IT, electronics and finance. His guiding principle is "You have to like people". After a short introduction phase, he took over as Head of Stratus at Basler & Hofmann on 1 May 2021. With the strength that comes from being an IRONMAN team competitor, he has what it takes to systematically make Stratus a success.

What fascinates you about your work?

Solving exciting tasks with highly qualified and interesting colleagues, setting the course for the future, and being able to help forge and shape the digital success of the company in the long run.

When do you particularly enjoy a project?

I enjoy projects most when they are complex, challenging and interdisciplinary – and where people management is a central theme. My strength lies in networked thinking. Since my start in the professional world, I have always worked as a communicator and translator at the interface between business and IT.
